Introducing the unique POLDARK and DOC MARTIN tour combined in a one day tour of North Cornwall.
A Poldark & Doc Martin tour of all the important filming locations… what’s not to like?
The perfect combination of romance and wry humour. A man of principle who champions the plight of the lowly and a man of principle given to frequent outbursts of self-righteousness! One in a flowing coat and tricorn, the other in a stuffy suit and tie.
10.00 am: leave from the car park of The Residence at Bolenna (our own boutique hotel in case you need somewhere to stay…) in Poldark’s own Perrancoombe in Perranporth.
A tour through the China Clay heritage mining areas to the south coast where the day starts with a visit to Charlestown harbour followed by our exclusive visit to Bodmin Moor and the private home used as the iconic NAMPARA in Poldark.
After this special invitation-only visit, we will travel up to the home of Doc Martin in Port Isaac where we will have a late lunch and a location spotting walk around the fishing village that features in the series and also in the 2019 hit movie The Fisherman’s Friends.
Have an award winning pasty or perhaps an ice-cream from the shop you know better as Mrs Tishall’s pharmacy!
A scenic drive south west takes us through the real countryside of Poldark’s Cornwall to visit Holywell Beach and retrace the steps of all the characters from the show.
See where Ross emerged form the crashing surf in season four, where Demelza ruined a perfectly lovely red silk dress and if the tide allows we will venture into the cave where the daring rescue of those trapped in season 5 occurred. Everything about a visit to Holywell beach evokes the true spirit of Poldark.
Arrive back to The Residence at Bolenna for around 5pm.
Prices are £350 for up to two people per day.
