St George’s Country House offers accommodation in Perranporth, Cornwall. The St George’s Country House Hotel is a former mine captains home built in 1837. This restored Victorian building has been in operation as a hotel since 1940’s. The area is well known for its mining heritage and there is even a tunnel under the back corner of our garden. Situated in its own walled garden in a commanding position at the top of the village, The St George’s Country House Hotel has extensive views.

Whether you are aiming to walk, enjoy the landscape and wildlife, have a romantic break or just a lazy getaway, we will do all we can to make your stay a great experience.

We are only a short hop from the South West Coast Path and the town centre itself.

We have 8 rooms which have undergone renovations in the winter 2015/2016.
